Kinderprep, a fun learning journey at Kiddikraft Learning Centre

Parents always want the best for their children naturally, especially when it comes to their early development. In Hong Kong, KLC (Kiddikraft Learning Centre) has established itself as a pioneer in early childhood education. Their renowned playgroup program, Kinderprep, offers a wealth of enriching activities designed to stimulate young minds and foster holistic growth. In this blog post, we will explore the numerous benefits that children can gain from attending Kinderprep at KLC (Kiddikraft Learning Centre) Sensory Play and Motor Skills Enhancement: Kinderprep at KLC (Kiddikraft Learning Centre) provides a stimulating environment where children aged 13 months to 36 months can engage in sensory play. Through hands-on activities, children are encouraged to explore different textures, shapes, and materials, which helps develop their sensory perception and fine motor skills. These activities lay a strong foundation for future learning and cognitive development.

1.      Music and Movement: Music has a profound impact on a child's development, and Kinderprep recognizes this by incorporating music and movement into their programme. Through singing, dancing, and playing musical instruments, children not only enhance their coordination and rhythm but also develop their language skills and self-expression. The joy and creativity that music brings to Kinderprep creates a positive and engaging learning environment.

2. Messy Play: Messy play is not only fun but also crucial for a child's development. Kinderprep at KLC (Kiddikraft Learning Centre) embraces this concept, allowing children to explore and experiment with various materials, such as sand, water, and paint. Engaging in messy play promotes sensory exploration, creativity, problem-solving, and social interaction. It also helps children develop their hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.

3. Story Time: Reading is a fundamental skill that lays the foundation for a child's language development and imagination. Kinderprep incorporates regular story time sessions, where children are exposed to a wide range of age-appropriate books. Through storytelling, children develop their listening skills, vocabulary, and comprehension. Moreover, story time fosters a love for reading and cultivates a lifelong passion for learning.

4. Arts and Craft: Creativity is nurtured at Kinderprep through arts and craft activities. Children are encouraged to explore their imagination and express themselves through various art mediums. Engaging in arts and craft enhances their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and cognitive abilities. It also promotes self-confidence and self-expression, allowing children to develop their unique artistic talents.

We are excited to offer parents the opportunity to create their own playgroup at KLC (Kiddikraft Learning Centre) for our Kinderprep classes. By forming a group with their friends (4 or more), parents can ensure that their children have a supportive and familiar environment to learn and grow in. This unique offering allows parents to have more control over their child's early education experience while fostering a sense of community and friendship among both parents and children. Ideally four participants to have a truly thriving experience, this programme encourages collaboration and socialization, setting the stage for a successful transition to kindergarten.
